Engagement: Maggie + Bryan

This morning I jumped in the car and headed to Athen’s Ga. I spent the morning with Maggie and Bryan shooting their engagement session. I LOVE when I have a new spot to shoot! It really gets me going! So I was stoked to head to the warehouse district in the city of Athens and then over to the Botanical Gardens. The warehouse was definitely an adventure and we got a few strange looks and comments as we ventured into some pretty remote locations there. It was awesome! They are such a beautiful couple. I would also like to add that I loved Maggie’s freckles me being freckled myself…hehe! Congrats guys! Y’all were a blast and I will see you in September!

Engagement: Mayra + Brent

This morning I got to spend some time with Mayra and Brent. They have less than 100 days till their wedding and are in full swing of getting it done! We had their engagement session today and then were off to a tasting! What fun! Sometimes I really think the best part of the whole wedding extravaganza is the planning and the anticipation leading to the big day!

Oh! I have been prop shopping all week so it was exciting to use a lot of my new toys at the shoot! The weather was hot and humid! For the last few shots when headed in doors for some homemade ice cream at the local fudge shop….YUMMY!

Engagement: Tracy + Luke

I spent this evening hiking around the Atlantic Station area with Tracy and Luke! We had a blast shooting their engagement photos! They were so fun and laid back it was incredible. It was quite muggy out but they were super good sports and didn’t complain once! We found a beautiful wood bridge with amazing sunlight for some really fun shots with the balloons. Thanks for trusting me on those guys! Happy dress hunting Tracy and I can’t wait to hang with you and your bridesmaids! It will be a blast, I just know it!

Engagement: Caroline + Andrew

This morning I met up with Caroline and Andrew for an amazing engagement shoot! The weather was perfect and the light was overcast most of the shoot which make for some pretty awesome light! I loved Andrew’s enthusiasm whenever I asked him to kiss her girl! It was so adorable! I say this all the time but they REALLY were great in front of the lens! Complete naturals! They are getting married the end of May this year. It is going to be perfect. I can’t wait! See you guys very soon! Congrats again!

I am a total sucker for a sunspot!!!

Engagement: Allie +Zack

Allie and Zack were so awesome! We had an adventure out in the country side at an old dairy farm! We stomped through some really incredible stuff *insert sarcasm*! We even climbed a fence! But it was all worth it! We really achieved some beautiful shots! I loved the colors of the grass with the gold trees that surrounded us! The light creeping into the barn was perfect! I loved talking photography with Zack who is a photographer himself. It was a great shoot all around! I even got a tan…ok….a sunburn but it’s all good! They are getting married this November and I can’t wait!

Engagement: Shauna + Andem

This afternoon I strolled around Centennial Olympic Park with Shauna and Andem. They were great sports to brave the freezing wind for their shoot. The light was beautiful today and the wind made for some excellent hair blowing action! They were up for anything and I love that! You want to sit on the concrete? Sure! You want to lay on the ground? Sure! You want to jump in through the water? Sure! Secretly I am thinking to myself….”Yes!” *insert hand pumping motion* Shauna was so beautiful. She has the most striking eyes and I loved how she was working those leopard print heels! They are getting married at the Four Seasons this summer and I can’t wait to see her as a bride…..she will be gorgeous! Congrats to you both and I will see you soon!

Katie + John

I love shooting in the winter time. The light is always perfect! This afternoon I spent some time with Katie and John shooting their engagement session. They are getting married in July 2010. Katie is so photogenic! We shot the photographs by the Fox Theater. The city is so festive this time of year with all of the holiday decorations and lights. It’s a great time to be out shooting!

Courtney + Win

Courtney and Win were real troopers this morning in the 20 something degree weather for their engagement session. OK so maybe it wasn’t quite that cold but it was definitely colder than it has been this winter! They are getting married in Griffin , GA in the summer of 2010. Courtney has a little fashionista in her, which I love, while Win was laid back and ready for some warm refreshments ASAP! They were so easy to photograph and were up for anything I suggested, which is awesome! Congrats you guys and next time we shoot photos together it should be a lot warmer!

Rebecca + Suzi

Today was a super busy day and I had two engagement shoots (see blog below). It was great though! I was so happy that both of my couples decided on the city for their sessions. I love the textures, colors and lights you can find around town! Rebecca and Suzi are getting married in April of 2010 at …………………get ready for it……………………THE ZOO! How awesome is that? I am so excited to shoot their wedding it is going to be amazing! Congrats to the two of you and I can’t wait for your wedding!

Shooting late in the evening is the best! Once the lights turn on in the city and the sun is setting we can really get some unique shots!
