One of my greatest friends, Chris, made his first appearance as DJ Dipthong! He did an incredible job! Characters of all kinds showed up as you can see from some of the photos! Chris is one of the most hardworking, committed people I know and once he puts his mind to something he is bound to excel! I am so happy that I got to be apart of the beginning of this journey for you, Chris, I wish you all the best! We love you!

Safehouse Coffee and Tea is an ultra cool hang out on Hill Street in Griffin, Ga. The coffee was AMAZING and the atmosphere was so relaxed and comforting I didn’t want to leave. Griffin is my hometown and I love to see art and culture being built up and fostered in the community. Hunt and Amanda Slade own the coffeehouse and have opened their shop and their hearts to the individuals that walk through their door. They have space for artists and musicians alike and host the Griffin Artisans Guild every Tuesday night. Weekends are filled with people of all ages siping on tea and coffee while enjoying all the art displayed and jamming to the music thundering from the floor! Safehouse has a great space located downstairs from the shop where bands from all over come to entertain!

They offer high quality fresh coffee ground right in front of you and the best smelling whole leaf teas!

That is my coffee below…mmmmm……

One wall is filled with shelves containing items from everything you could need to have your fresh coffee at home to paintings, ceramics and photographs. On the opposite side, there are a line of individually decorated little rooms filled with magazines, books, laptop connections, art and instruments.

Enigma Machine were the stars last night!
