Rebekah and Gregg were one of my wedding couples over a year ago and wanted to get together while they were back in town for some more awesome photos! We were out early this morning trying to avoid the 100 degree weather that was bound for later in the afternoon. They were amazing and it’s so good to see my couples loving married life! I loved how adventurous they were splashing around in the waterfalls! It was great to see both of you again and I am so happy that life is going so well for the both of you!

I love Lori! I have known her for about 7 or 8 years now and I love how our friendship grows as the years pass! We have been through so many stages of life together that I don’t know what it would have been like without her. I am so thankful that our lives crossed paths in that glorious old art room years ago! Lori is an awesome photographer and needed some shots for her website and blog as well as some sassy photos just for fun! Why Not! Lets through on some heels and hit the streets! We were out early this morning to capture the best light. I encouraged her to bring lots of props, hair pieces, umbrellas ect….and boy did she deliver! I love it when my clients bring props for us to play with! It gives so much more variety to the photographs! We decided to head down to historic downtown Senoia. I have always wanted to shoot there and I really think I do my best when I am in a new place with new inspiration! Lori was an awesome model and even stopped, ok…redirected, some traffic!

Love you girl! Thanks for letting me photograph you! You are gorgeous!

Anytime: Jennifer + Chad

Jennifer and Chad spent the evening with me out at the wonderful farm I am so lucky to use! Thanks Erin for giving us access! They are such a beautiful couple! They were so fun and Chad is hilarious with his “serious” face! They are already married and this was just a great session to get some awesome photos of the both of them together. I love how my married clients have to be reminded to flirt with one another. It is hilarious! These two didn’t need a whole lot of coaching in that department though! I have been excited to shoot Jennifer because she has such a beautiful face and photographs brilliantly! I met the both of them a few months ago at my church and today was a wonderful way to get to know them even better! I love how photographing a couple gives you instant access to their personalities and the dynamics of their relationship. It is such a personal experience and I feel lucky to be able to portray them in such a fun, loving, beautiful way.

This evening I sipped some great coffee while waiting at Safehouse Coffee for AJ to show up for his portrait session. AJ is the oldest son of my sister’s childhood best friend. Hope that wasn’t confusing. haha! Anyhow, I remember AJ as a baby and a young child so it was great to see him as an adult. He is really photogenic and posing came naturally to him. We strolled through downtown and talked about music while making sporadic stops when I would say “oh! that’s cool!” and pick up my camera. We had a great time and got some great images too!

This evening I spent some time with some old friends of mine! We had a wonderful, adventurous time with their boys! They were so energetic and cute! I have know Jennifer and Bucky for quite a few years now and this is my 3rd year photographing their family. I love it! I look forward to it every year and each year they become more and more beautiful! You guys are awesome!

(Above left) I love this shot! I love the energy in it. I love the sense childhood and freedom. It is really one of my favorite shots from the entire session!

The Busby Children

Christmas is on it’s way and it really felt like to me this morning as I spent some time with the Busby children at their Grandmother’s home. We had a good time taking photos and they were so well behaved. Both of them looked adorable in their holiday themed outfits! Enjoy and Happy Holidays!

The Wolfer Family

Yesterday I spent the morning with the Wolfer family at a small community park in Atlanta. They have two adorable little girls! Tracy and I met in grad school a few years ago and it’s great to keep up with her and see how her family has grown. I loved all the pink on the girls and both of them were so photogenic! Congratulations on an amazing family Tracy! I hope to see you again soon.

This evening I stomped around my hometown with Taylor to capture some awesome photos for her senior portraits! She was a natural and so beautiful! I love that she brought extra outfits that gave the images completely different looks. We also borrowed a little “fierceness” from Tyra to help us out with showing a little attitude! She was great! The weather was perfect. Good luck and have a great senior year, Taylor!

This evening I was able to run around my hometown and photograph a beautiful young woman! Emily is a senior this year and we got together to take some not so typical senior portraits. I photographed her older sister a couple of years ago for her senior photos and it is the biggest compliment for families to come back for more! I loved her style and wish I had been half as cool as she is when I was a teenager. The weather was threatening to come down on us but it held out, thank goodness!

The Hubar Family

This evening I was able to spend some time with the Hubar family. They recently had a new baby girl who is only 7 weeks old! So cute and might I say Beth looked incredible to have had a baby ONLY 7 weeks ago! WOW! They were a ton of fun and the boys were awesome! We took the photos at their home in Concord, GA. I totally wish my yard was as fab as theirs! I shot Beth’s sister’s wedding back in March of this year and it was great to be called back for more! You guys were awesome and your little ones are adorable! Thank you so much!
