Wedding: Anne + Kelly

Anne and Kelly were married this past weekend in Roswell at the United Methodist Church. I had shot there before several years ago so it was good to go to a familiar place. Anne and Kelly decided to have a First Look and see eachother prior to the wedding. I LOVE IT when my couples do this! It makes for such a fun relaxed day! I did it when I was married and I recommend it to all my brides! Plus I love the private photos that come from the First Look. They are so special and sweet. We had tons of time to shoot before the ceremony and we certainly utilized it! The clouds were our friend that day, shielding us from the harsh heat of the sun while allowing us to get some incredible photographs!

This wedding was so great for me! Two of my past couples were apart of this wedding and it has been wonderful to see how they have grown in their marriages and lives. So this makes my third wedding with this awesome group of people and I hope to see you at more!

Wedding: Krista + Parker

This is one of my absolute favorite weddings to date. Being a photographer is a constant battle between creativity and technology. I have been working with new editing techniques and submerging myself in Lightroom and it has paid off! I love these images! I love the feeling, the colors, the contrast….everything! It doesn’t hurt when you have a bride as beautiful as Krista and an 19th century home for a backdrop! Krista and Parker were married in Augusta, Ga…oh did I mention I love traveling for weddings! It is always inspiring to see new places! The wedding went perfectly. No one was rushing around and everyone was laid back and full of laughter! The guys were awesome and I loved the mixed suspenders they all wore. Krista’s dress was simple with a classic elegance to it. Thank you so much for letting me be apart of your day Krista and Parker. We had a blast!

I tried out some new techniques at the reception and am so happy with the results (images above and below).

Wedding: Courtney + Win

Courtney and Win were married this past Saturday at Second Baptist Church in Griffin. It was so amazing to have a wedding in my home town. The weather was harsh but we braved the heat and got some great photographs! Courtney and Win were so awesome together that you could see instantly that they were meant to find one another. I loved seeing familiar faces and familiar places for this wedding. The reception was held at the Baily Tebault House, which by the way is gorgeous! The DJ was great and we partied the night away! Congrats to the both of you! I wish you the world!

Wedding: Shauna + Andem

It was wonderful to be in Atlanta this past weekend for the wedding of Shauna and Andem! It was also great to work with my friend Summer from MY SIMPLY PERFECT WEDDING & EVENTS. She did an incredible job and the entire day was perfect! Really! I loved the detailing on Shauna’s dress and her veil was gorgeous! The ceremony and reception was held at The Four Seasons Hotel in the heart of the city. We ventured out into the streets for several shots and even stopped traffic once or twice! Andem’s family flew in from Nigera for the festivities and the love and happiness for these families joining together was so evident that you could feel it in the air. Congratulations to the both of you! Thank you so much to Summer for such a great wedding and I hope to work with you again soon!

Wedding: Lindsey + Adam

This past weekend we got the chance to travel to Alabama for a beautiful plantation style wedding. Lindsey was such a gorgeous bride. The love between the two of them was so apparent it was wonderful! She had the best candy bar I have seen yet and a few detail shots are posted below. I did a bridal session with Lindsey a couple of months ago and was unable to post any of the photos so please check out a few I have posted below. I am so happy for the both of them and wish them the world! Congratulations to you both!

Wedding: Kelly + Tucker

Ok, I went totally blog crazy on this one! My friends Tucker and Kelly were married on Saturday in the mountains and I felt so lucky and humbled that they would ask me to come and shoot their wedding. These are some of the greatest people you could ever meet and I am so happy for them. They were married on the ridge at the Cohutta Springs Winery. The setting was incredible. Kelly’s wedding gown was classic and I loved the brown suits. Not only are they awesome people…they are FUN people! What goes great with a fun crowd, wine and a fabulous setting? Karaoke of course! Check out the photos below! I have never had this done at a wedding before but it was the funniest thing ever! Congratulations to you both and thank for letting me be apart of your day….and thanks for the wine too! hehe!

Wedding: Caroline + Andrew

Caroline and Andrew were married on May 28, 2010 at Christ the King Lutheran Church. It was a beautiful wedding and the front of the church was gorgeous! I loved Caroline’s little dress while she was getting ready, so cute! She looked timeless in her wedding gown and the broach at the waist was wonderful! The wedding went so smoothly that I really enjoyed every moment. The reception was held at The Metropolitan Club in Alpharetta. The food was amazing and I think I had the best mashed potatoes in my life which is saying alot if you’ve every had my Aunt’s potatoes! Everyone jumped right into the party and the dance floor was rarely bare! I had a great time and congrats to the both of you!

Wedding: Andrea + Ben

Andrea and Ben were married at a beautiful country club in Alpharetta on Saturday. The wedding was set in the morning outside and once again the weather was beautiful for us! It had rained the day before and the weatherman had predicted rain for the whole weekend but we got lucky!!!! I am hoping that good karma will keep my lucky streak going! Two great things about an early morning wedding…..cooler air and gorgeous light! Of course it doesn’t hurt to have such a glowing bride as Andrea! Really. Look at her. Glowing!!

I loved all the unique ways Andrea displayed her favorite flower! The center pieces were fabulous!

The cake cutting started off sweet enough but you can see that didn’t last too long! haha!

Wedding: Nicole + Ben

It is rare that I have the connection with a bride they way I do with Nicole. I mean….we ARE both NKOTB fans! We hit it off instantly and I was thrilled when she booked me for her wedding. Nicole and Ben have one of those great love stories. They met, instantly hit it off but circumstances and distance caused them to lose touch. Always thinking about the other person…wondering. They reconnected over a year later and haven’t been apart since! The wedding was lovely and the ketubah was one of the most beautiful I have ever seen! The weather always seems to hold out for us and I was thankful that it did once again. They were married at Flint Hill in Norcross. It is really a beautiful old house and the staff always rock it out!

They were so fun! I love it when my couples let loose in front of the lens!

I loved this shot. I love the wind catching Nicole’s veil and the look on her face while Ben thanks the Rabbi for all that he did for them.

Wedding: Jennifer + Xeric

I met Jennifer and Xeric over a year ago when we did their engagement session. Jennifer and I talked about her vision for her wedding so much back then that it was wonderful to see it all come together for her yesterday. They were married at the Villa Christina in Atlanta Sunday evening. The weather was truly a blessing after Saturday’s storms! I love when I have brides that are calm and ready to enjoy the day, Jennifer was exactly that way enjoying her wine and hanging with her girls. The guys were a riot and myself and Yarden even had our photos taken by a few groomsmen! They were so fun! The day was perfect and Jennifer and Xeric are a gorgeous couple! They were so easy to photograph! Congratulations!
