I finally pulled myself away from the camera equipment display when I looked at the time and realized I had been in there for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Remember I only had an hour to spare. oops! I yelled at the sales guy “I gotta go! I have a meeting to get to!”

I made it to the meeting with about 15 minutes to spare, thankfully. I met with a couple I have seen twice before. Lauren and Patrick were both involved in two weddings I had shot previously in the past 2 years. I love when I have someone come back to me when it is their time to marry. I always feel like I know them, like old friends. I am always more relaxed at these meetings and tend to lean back in my chair and laugh about the fun we had at the previous weddings while truly be excited about the fun that will be had at their own wedding! I am so happy that I will be working with Lauren and Patrick and I look forward to seeing their family and friends again!

Today was truly a GREAT day!

It’s getting better…..

This weekend I am headed to Nashville, TN for the Imaging USA conference! Yee Haw! I will be taking an all day class about lighting on Saturday along with some editing and marketing classes on Sunday. I am pumped to head to the Expo and run straight to the Nikon booth!!!!!!!!!! No doubt I will post photos when I come back! I might even see a cowboy…..maybe

And though this shot has nothing to do with cowboys…we all know a blog is always better with a photo!

I just also wanted to toss another “Thank you” out there to my good friend Brenna of Brenna B Photography for taking our family photos this past weekend! She specializes in children, newborn, and family portraits and is amazing! Thanks girl! I love our photos!

Editing this week has been going GREAT! I have completed 3 sessions and a wedding in the past week and am now focused on finishing up Amanda and Alex’s images. I am feeling very productive right now which really helps with my sanity with all the work and holiday events/shopping planned.

My sweet, hard working Yarden is now engaged. Which is amazing! She has been working as my second shooter/assistant for the last 3 years so all my past brides out there that know her let’s all scream out!

“OMG! YOU’RE ENGAGED!!!!!!” (insert some loud laughing and jumping, of course)

Yarden really is the greatest and I could not do what I do without her! Love ya girl!

Tons of editing is what I have been focused on this week. Working hard to finish up Cheryl’s wedding and working on some wedding albums too! We have a wedding on Friday in Clayton, Ga which should be totally awesome and I look forward to photographing Amanda! She is going to be gorgeous!

I am shooting an engagement session on Saturday in Little Five……….so excited..………………..they are bringing some crazy good props for the photos so be on the look out for their blog! I love the urban look and all the colors and textures the city has to offer!
