Julie and Dan

I started my day on Saturday in the morning with lots of women in the Van Micheal Salon in the Virginia Highlands area! What better way to start a day than with women, hairspray and makeup?  Katie Jones at Van Michael did an amazing job on everyone’s makeup! She was a great sport too for all the craziness I was doing around her! The wedding was held at the First Presbyterian Church. It is a beautiful stone church with an exquisite interior! Really, it took my breath away when we stepped into the sanctuary! We truly were blessed too! It poured most of the morning while all the girls were getting gorgeous at the salon but somehow the rain passed over and we were able to have a beautiful day! The reception was held at Magnolia Hall in Piedmont Park. It had a rich, warm feel to it. The hall has large french doors that lead out into the park lit by paper lanterns.

I got some crazy looks when setting up this shot! “You want us to run?” “Yep!” It was great and I think it created a fun colorful image of the entire bridal party! I love to let loose at a wedding and have some fun and I really like the final product of all that “running”!;)

Family was very important to Dan and Julie and I think only one person I talked to that entire day was from Atlanta! Everyone traveled from so far to be here on this day for them. People came from 21 different states and some all the way from Nigeria! Wow!
